Robot Welder

For our client, we are looking for an experienced Robot Welder to join the production team in Hapert. The client specializes in heavy construction work and complex welded assemblies using automated manufacturing processes. Your main responsibility will be operating a welding robot, with manual MIG/MAG welding required when corrections are needed.

  • Operating a welding robot for series production

  • Assembling products on a matrix according to technical drawings

  • Tacking steel parts before robotic welding

  • Inspecting welds and checking the finished product

  • Identifying and correcting welding defects

  • Removing defective robot welds and manually re-welding them using the MIG/MAG process

  • Grinding and finishing welded components

  • Working with steel sheets from 5 to 15 mm thick

  • Using a vernier caliper to check dimensions

  • Working on production projects that typically change every 1–3 weeks

Requirements

  • Experience operating a welding robot

  • Experience welding steel using the MIG/MAG process

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings

  • Ability to use a vernier caliper

  • MIG/MAG welding certificates are required; expired certificates are accepted

  • Comfortable with a position focused mainly on robotic welding, with manual welding used primarily for corrections
